Beauty, intelligence, athleticism, and confidence....

That is what He he has been bred for and what he is demonstrating. When we made the decision to keep the best of our mares and start a small breeding operation, we knew we would have to find an exceptional stud. We are excited to see the foals Jefe will give us in the years to come!

!Meet our Morgan Broodmare band

These mares, both registered and grade, were all chosen for their exceptional conformation and temperment. They are all a part of our working ranch and serve as riding mounts and lesson horses when they are not caring for their little ones!

  1. Rnhrt Lovely Fann "Kelly"
    Rnhrt Lovely Fann "Kelly"
Kelly has the size, substance, and and quiet strength of the old style Morgan. We are excited to have her as a part of our Morgan brood mare band! In late 2017 she is due to foal to "Coby" our favorite registered Friesian stallion. This Morisian foal will be impressive!
  2. Shady
    Shady
This lively Rocky Mountain mare gets all the attention both because of her eye-catching chocolate palamino color and the fact that she is right in front of you asking to be petted! She is not registered but her athleticism, competitiveness, and awesome gaits, have earned her a place in our breeding operation. She excels at both aggressive games (barrels etc.) and endurance type riding. She is bred to our Morgan stallion Ranger.
  3. SRR Star of Success
    SRR Star of Success
This tall black filly has impressed us since she was born! She is out of our "Robbi-Sue" mare, Successful Black Magic and by our stallion Lindahl Jefe "Ranger". Star has elegant strong Morgan type and a friendly personality. We are excited to retain her as part of our brood mare band!

    “SRR Major Cadence”
Amberfields Elegant Ash / Lindahl Jefe
DOB 4/28/17    $3,000

This colt was born strong and tall with remarkable Morgan type. Head erect and independent and curious from the start, we believe Major will be a true typification of Morgan personality! He was born a buckskin, but of course his color is developing and we will color test him for his papers. Major impresses us with his speed in the pasture and his mother’s steady nature is sure to be passed on!

She has excelled at endurance, barrels, trails, and just a all-around family horse!   “SRR Dixie Sunrise”

Shady (Rocky Mountain) / Lindahl Jefe
DOB  3/28/17      $3,000

This filly is a favorite of mine this year…which should be of no surprise as she is out of my own personal endurance mare Shady. Shady has shown a level of intelligence and athleticism that I have yet to experience in another horse! Already Dixie has joined her dam and I on long back woods camping, days playing on a beach crashing with whitecaps, and group rides over new terrain. She has taken it all with the same serious open mindedness that her mother has always had. Dixie will not be registered, but her own remarkable conformation along with her parents reputation under saddle promise her a life full of potential as an athlete! She is available for purchase upon weaning, but I will happily retain her and train her myself. Shady my not be bred again as I intend to return her to competitive endurance.
